Holiday Rental Terms & Conditions
Payment of the deposit indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions, which form a contract between you (the hirer) and the villa owner/agent.
A deposit of 25% is required in order to secure a booking.
The property will be provisionally booked for 1 week for you, to ensure time for a cheque to be sent to the address confirmed on our booking form.
Upon receipt of the deposit, we will confirm your booking. If the booking is then cancelled, the deposit will be retained.
Payments should be made in accordance with the instructions sent in our confirmation.
Where a property is held with a deposit rather than full payment, the balance must be received at least 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
If the full payment is not received before that time, we may re-advertise the holiday.
Damage Deposit
With the remainder of the rental monies, a security deposit is required. The security deposit is returned/destroyed within 2 weeks of the holiday finishing providing there are no damages/breakages to deduct from it. To date, we have never had to retain any of the security deposit.
Please inform us upon departure of any breakages.
Should damages incurred exceed the sum of the deposit, an invoice for the additional costs will be sent to "the hirer" requiring payment to be made in full within 14 days.
Cancellation
If the booking is cancelled prior to the 8 week deadline, then the deposit only will be retained.
Cancellation after the 8 week deadline will incur the full amount to be paid and we strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance that will cover you.
Your Arrival
A "meet & greet" service is provided. We will arrange to meet you at a local landmark and escort you to the property.
For the duration of your holiday, we can be contacted for any emergencies/questions that arise.
We will provide a "welcome pack" including essentials for your arrival. This includes: drinking water, tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, 6pk lager, 6pk cola, 1 bottle of wine and a family bag of crisps.
We will ensure that you have a few basic items such as toilet roll and soap.
Every care has been taken to ensure the safety of our guests, but they should take out their own holiday insurance to cover for accidents, illness or cancellation.
No responsibilty can be accepted by us or the owner if water, electricity or any other services are disrupted beyond the control of the owner.
Villa owners and agents are not liable for damages or injury to person or any property belonging to any person. No liability is accepted whatsoever for any loss, personal injury or death, however incurred.
Although all reasonable endeavours are made to ensure accuracy of information provided and the quality and facilities of the property, we cannot accept liability for problems that occur whilst guests occupy the property.
All information has been provided in good faith and no liability is accepted for any misrepresentation of property material or accommodation.
